Vacation Bible School

Home / Inside the BCM/D / Pre-School/Children / Vacation Bible School

VBS offers BCM/D churches a tremendous opportunity to evangelize and disciple children, youth, and adults.

VBS is a time to “pack your bags and head out for adventure” that can take you through anything on a thrilling adventure to anywhere. It is the largest outreach event for most of our churches.

  • More people have come to know Jesus Christ as Savior through VBS than through any other church activity.
  • VBS emphasizes the Bible.
  • VBS curriculum is designed to relate all the areas of study and activity to the VBS theme. Bible study, missions and crafts work together to teach those attending about God, the Bible, Jesus, and His purpose in their lives.

Saddle Ridge Ranch - James 1:5

In partnership with LifeWay, we offer this years' VBS theme: Saddle Ridge Ranch.  "Roundin' Up Questions - Drivin" Home Answers"

James 1:5  "Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him."

Saddle up your horses and drive the range with Lifeway's Saddle Ridge Ranch.  Here is where we will take an exciting ride through the range where kids will learn that no matter where they go or what they do in life, God has the answers.

The VBS Expo and Regional conferences will feature Saddle Ridge Ranch.

Club VBS: Route 254 -  "Psalm 25:4"

"Make Your ways known to me, Lord, teach me Your paths."

There are many exciting and unique ministry possibilities that your church has through VBS. Lifeway's optional VBS curriculum is Club VBS.

This summer, transform your church into a highway of discovery and help kids map through God's truth as they learn to obey His commands and understand that Jesus is the power by which we live.

VBS materials are offered by several other vendors. If you decide to research other curriculums it is important to understand their Biblical approach to teaching in order to determine which is best for your church. You can access by these additional options by google or yahoo search engines.
